Consumer rights (Australia)

Consumer guarantees for services
When we supply paid services, statutory guarantees include that services are provided with acceptable care and skill, are fit for any disclosed purpose and are supplied within a reasonable time when no time is set. Remedies depend on whether a failure is “major” under the law.
Services supplied to consumers
If you acquire services predominantly for personal, domestic or household use, the consumer guarantees generally apply in full. If you acquire services for business use, some limits may apply to recovery amounts for goods not ordinarily acquired for personal use; we will still act fairly and in accordance with the law.
Digital content
Where digital content is supplied to Australian consumers, applicable consumer laws may provide repair, replacement or refund rights if the content fails to match descriptions or is not of acceptable quality, subject to statutory tests.
Unfair contract terms
We avoid terms that could be unfair under the Australian Consumer Law. If you believe a term in our contract is unfair, contact us and consider ACCC guidance.
